Gregory D. Metrick

Gregory Daniel Metrick was born and raised in Butler, Pennsylvania.  He attended Slippery Rock Area High School and graduated with honors in 1999. 

While in high school, Greg was a member of the National Honor Society and the Slippery Rock High School Golf Team. In college, Greg was a member of the Law Society, as well as the Helping Hands Student Volunteer Association, and also played organized roller hockey.

Attorney Metrick then joined the law firm of Stranahan, Stranahan and Cline in Mercer, Pennsylvania in January, 2007.

Greg lives in Grove City, Pennsylvania with his wife Beth, who is a Veterinary Technician, along with their pets.  His hobbies include golf, vacationing, reading and music.

Attorney Metrick went on to attend Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, where he was named to the Dean’s List all four years.  He graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of the Arts in History. Attorney Metrick then immediately enrolled in law school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in the fall of 2003.  He earned his Juris Doctor degree upon his graduation in 2006.  He then sat for and passed the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in July, 2006.

Attorney Metrick handles a wide range of legal matters, including Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Family Law, Guardianship of Incapacitated Persons, Personal Injury, Judicial Name Changes, Firearms Law and Liquor Law.  His concentrations are in Family Law, including custody and divorce, and Criminal Defense.  In addition to his work at Stranahan, Stranahan & Cline, Attorney Metrick uses his skills and experience in criminal defense as a part time Associate Public Defender for the County of Mercer, assisting indigent members of the community.  He has jury trial experience and success in both criminal and civil trials.  He has also practiced numerous times before the Pennsylvania Superior Court  on both civil and criminal appeals.
